What we shipped, and why

Teachers asked for two things over and over: mark faster, and let me see the whole class at once. Both threads run right through the last few months. Here is the record, newest first.

The client SDK goes public

The React and JS client libraries are now installable packages, so anyone building on Zippy stops copying internal code. CLI login moved to an email code, and skills install for any agent, not Claude only.

Fast on a phone, and reliable to the last step

A lot of marking happens in stolen minutes on a phone. Import got a mobile layout with tap-select, and the lesson-generation and export paths were repaired so nothing fails at the finish line.

The release teachers kept describing. Grading collapsed to a single screen, and the classroom gained a gradebook, a monitor, and analytics. Feedback splits into inline annotations with a clear next step.

Mark a whole class in one pass

The headline is the simplest to describe. Grade a whole class at once against your rubric, draft lessons and questions with AI, and export the results in a form a school actually uses.

Every line here is about what the software does: it drafts, it grades a first pass, it exports, it tracks patterns. We are not claiming a measured jump in results, because that is not ours to claim yet. The code is at github.com/heyzippy/zippy.
